FTCE Florida Business Education 6-12 Exam Study Guide

Business is a multi-dimensional subject which covers topics such as economics, marketing, information and technological systems and a sufficient knowledge of business communications. This allows candidates to apply for either a temporary or a professional certification. Both certifications have different requirements and different expirations but have the same eligibility test. A professional certification lasts up to five academic years and would require an up gradation while a temporary certification lasts for only three academic years and is non-renewable.

Eligibility for FTCE Business Education Examination in Florida State

To take the FTCE Business Education Exam, candidate should fulfil the eligibility conditions laid by the board. Both certifications have the following requirements:

• Temporary certification requires a bachelor degree and 2.5 GPA in business studies

• Professional certification requires a bachelor degree with specialization in business studies.

In both certifications, candidates have to submit fingerprint reports to the board. These fingerprint reports are duly processed by the board to ensure there is no past criminal record of the candidate. 

Format of FTCE Business Education Test

The FTCE Business Education Exam is composed of 120 multiple choice questions. These questions are of different formats and styles. Candidate should try to practice these types of questions. Different types of formats are:

• Completion of sentence

• Command based

• Situation analysis

• Word problems

• Visual query
