Rome Wells helped in the past not only military students prepare for ASVAB exam and select the right type of study guides for their test preparation journey, but also helped other type of students trying to get into professions of doctors, lawyers, teachers, IT network Engineers and Project Managers.

A bit about Rome Wells and his background and why information listed on this site can help you prepare for ASVAB

Rome Wells is a former certified secondary math teacher grade 7-12 (that includes high school) for the state of CT and also happens to tutor on part time basis students in CT area and NY who are strugling in math, IT computer networking, coding, and yep even breakdancing!  Rome Wells also has masters in education with concentration in math. (so Rome Wells been around for quiet some time and can most certainly help you by providing proper advice for how to prepare for your exam, continue reading further to see Rome Wells advice)

Why Rome Wells is qualified to help students chose study guides

Therefore, he is qualified to help you chose the right ASVAB study material as oppose to some people who sell study material on the internet without even having masters degree in education.  Although there is more sections on ASVAB exam then just math, Rome Wells makes it easy for you to analyze, research your exam and pick the right type of study resources for your ASVAB tes tpreparation journey.

So how Does Rome Wells knows so much stuff about ASVAB?

Rome Wells picked up his skills, by initially helping local students in CT NY and NJ states get better grades by literally going to their homes and tutoring them math related exams, such as ASVAB, GMAT , GRE (all of these test you can also access from this site), then after realizing how good Rome Wells is in helping students locally, he opened up a company called Tutoring Services, LLC and created a network of tutoring sites advertising his tutors to CT NY and NJ students in selected counties.

How Rome Wells discovered how to help students better prepare for ASVAB?

Other High School Students and Parents quickly realized that there is a Tutoring Services, LLC company helping students get better grades and improve their scores in Standardized tests and admission tests, and wanted high quality tutoring match, but also wanted study guides as well.

Hence such students ended up contacting Rome Wells and his company for local tutors in CT, NY and NJ and study guides and this is how this StudyGuide.net/ASVAB site was born helping students find the right study resources.

Even up to this day Rome Wells specializes in helping students in CT NY and NJ get matched with ASVAB tutors.  Check out his company's local tutoring site in CT to see how he gives back to the local community, by creating jobs.

The thing is parents of ASVAB test taking high school students who contacted our local company in CT and NY and NJ simply wanted more then just a local ASVAB tutor, they kept asking about any additional supplementary resources for ASVAB (and not just ASVAB if you go to our local tutoring site you will see many other exams), that their sons and daughters can use without the tutor or in addition to the local tutor.

Typically local tutors who would go out to student's home to teach students would have their own ASVAB test prep materials, but rarely did  students who were being taught would have any type of ASVAB study materials that they can study without the help of a tutor in  more affordable manner.

How affordable way to prepare for ASVAB in comparison to other study methods was created

Hence, it only made sense for Rome Wells to have some sort of affordable ASVAB test prepration option not just for CT NY and NJ selected county students, but for all students who need help in preparing for this test and want to solidify themselves with further practice.

So what did Rome Wells do?  Well....He figured out exactly what ASVAB study resource materials exist out there on the internet, that can help all students, including the students in  CT NY and NJ prepare for this ASVAB exam, to increase their chances of getting better score and there by maximizing their chances of getting into either, army, navy, marine, coastal guard or air force.

So what originally started as simply helping students get matched with local tutors, turned into helping students prepare for ASVAB more affordably with the help of useful study guide ASVAB related resources, rather the  just getting help from a local tutor.  Rome Wells, took his test preparation objective nationally, helping students not just in CT NY and NJ selected few counties, but all students who needed help in preparing for ASVAB exam.   Capish?

This is why and how Rome Wells knows so much about ASVAB, because he simply has the reason to because he is trying to help students succeed, as oppose to other companies who do not really have such reason othe then just to sell you resources. Hope this makes sense to you.

In addition to that Rome Wells contacted major companies who specializes in ASVAB exam and brought them together and listed their resources right here on this site with the help of his team, all easily and convinietly listed for you.

In fact if you are in a hurry and don't want to listen any more about Rome Wells (I admit it's kind of boring, but who knows maybe after you read this, and have another test coming up you will understand the value Rome Wells Brings and come back here to research your other test preparation exams) especially if you got ASVAB test coming up in the next couple of days or even next week, then simply check out study pack resources that contain bunch of practice test questions that you can use to reinforce your ASVAB test taking skills.

Remember test score is from 1 to 99! Military looks closely at the applicant test results, when making their decision whether you qualify or not.  For some people this test maybe simple, for others it may be more difficult, depending on your educational academic background.

He also lives not 2 far from Manhattan NY USA and helps students prepare for ASVAB in Westchester County NY directly in student homes, Fairfield County CT and Bergen County NJ as well, especially the math part that students struggle a lot in.

For anyone online not in CT NY and NJ he provides study recommendation advice, or directs students to tutors from one of his sites, either national site or local sites, helping students find the right test preparation resources, whether it's in the form of a local tutor or online or self guided approach.

Note tutors that Rome Wells direct students to are either agency managed (agency comission fee but higher quality match and tutor) or independent (no comission fee but first lesson $15), depending on the location and educational budget of the student and quality of the tutor, some students simply want the best of the best, and some don't care.  The ones that don't care typically end up getting not such a good deal, and end up not being better prepared. Rome Wells advises student to do care, when making their tutor selection.

If you would like to request a tutor contact Rome Wells direct to see if Rome Wells can assist (note mostly i can help with CT | NY and NJ tutors speicific counties) if it's somewhere outside of these counties, please visit our company's sister site www.TutoringServices.com

Or you can of course still contact Rome Wells (especially if he contacted you) and request for online tutor, which is a cheaper option then local, but not as effective for obvious reasons.

Independent ASVAB tutors are more affordable then agency based managed ASVAB tutors (however quality of learning effectiviness may be not what you would expect from an agency based tutor)

Independent tutors are sometimes cheaper (but the outcome of their effectiviness is also questionable as oppose to the agency based verifiable and managed tutors, just keep that in mind, just trying to look out for you..., however agency based managed ASVAB tutors are a bit more expensive), since there is no agency recurring fee and you only pay $15 for first lesson, I describe this concept here (for accounting students, not related to military ASVAB but concept is very similar)  Therefore if you really don't want agency based tutor for ASVAB exam you can simply search for independent tutors on your own on www.TutoringServices.com site, note it is hands down the most cheapest of the cheapest websites that you will ever in your entire life find affordable tutor at, unless of course someone offers to teach you for FREE.   If someone does offer you to learn for free, definitely take the help all you can get, but remember someone who will teach you for free often will not have the same incentive to help you as much as let's say someone who does get paid.... plus do you really want to risk it getting help from someone for FREE and putting your military career on the line in case if you do not do well and miss out on bonus perks or other advancement opportunities, just because you decided to save a few bucks?  In my personal opinion it's not worth saving few bucks to end up failing your exam.

Finding local tutor in ASVAB test preparation, is not an easy thing as many students may think (and I explain why here, hence if you are lucky to find someone who can help you for it, this is already a big deal)

Finding local ASVAB tutors is difficult and not an easy thing, in fact I describe this here.... for accounting students who are preparing for CPA (exam not related to military ASVAB exam, but good to see, to understand how Rome Wells dosen't just help military students but other professionals, plus to actually understand how you can potentially get affordable tutor without overpaying on insanely expensives that that you find out there on the internet).

So therefore if you are looking for a local tutor, your best best is to check out company's site www.TutoringServices.com  However tutors tend to be more expensive than the self guided methods, but good enough to help you prepare for your exam with confidence.  Therefore you may want to consider using local or online tutors if you want to maximize your chances of your learning effectiviness and increase your chances of getting better ASVAB score.   Note not every body needs a tutor!  Some students are simply too smart for tutors, and simply don't need any help, but don't realize it!  If you are one of such bright students talk to Rome Wells, he can quickly understand your level of educational background just by maintaining conversation with you and asking you few academic questions about your background. My goal here is not to just sell you a tutor... but rather help you prepare for ASVAB, if you truly need it and self guided material simply does not stick, then yes of course tutor make sense!  If tutors didn't make sense then they wouldn't be around.   Don't be scared to ask for help, remember we are talking about your military career!

How exactly does Rome Wells help ASVAB test taking students?

Rome Wells is simply helping people out prepare for their standardized tests by recommending variety of methods to prepare for exam. With the help of his company Tutoring Services, LLC, you will see majority of content related to ASVAB updated on this page all in one place, making it easier for you to navigate to relevant sections.  In this site you will find info about Exam, Score info, Exam Format, type of questions on the exam, how many questions.  Who takes this exam, what it's for, why do you need to take it and many other key factors that maybe useful for you to know.

In addition to local tutoring company that Rome Wells created, he also have created other methods for students to get help from tutors, making education more affordable. Some sites you will find interesting to visit include UsedCollegeBooks.NET where you can buy and sell books directly between each other, avoiding middle man and saving money on book expenses (although that site is only useful if you know some one in college and selling your book in specific school)

Other sites include site like www.TutoringServices.com where you can find local or online tutors and don't even pay for Agency Recurring comission fee and only pay for first lesson $15, (some tutors offer that, sweet deal) .  Many tutors can help you prepare for ASVAB exam on that site.   Rome Wells is simply helping students save money and, helpig world stay green.

Rome Wells is a math enthusiast, tutor, former high school teacher, his facebok site for math you can find here facebook.com/MathTutor, he is also IT Network Security Engineer (check out his site! wow)and even a breakdancer (yep as crazy as it sounds it's true), all packaged in one person, who can intelligently communicate with students preparing for ASVAB and provide usefull study guide suggestion advice, simply because he managed to understand test preparation patterns and leveraged his engineering and IT consulting skill set to decipher what study materials are most appropriate for students to study from.

Majority of ASVAB review and advice sites you see out there only focus on selling you products without really having overall goal of helping world stay GREEN and helping students avoid middle man, and don't really have much desire to helping you improve your ASVAB score, and mostly about corporate greed, and most certainly do not have masters degree in education and bachelors in pure math, and most certainly not educational advocates as much as Rome Wells is, whose goal is to reduce overall costs of education and help this world stay GREEN.  Here is how Rome Wells helps world stay GREEN, check out his books site.

Rome Wells on the other hand is a simple guy, who provides simple advice and really enjoys helping military students find their right career path, whether it's through taking ASVAB exam and getting better score with test preparation resources in the form of local or online tutors, packaged courses, study packs, or through simple friendly advice.

Rome Wells initialy just like you, never liked math in his early days of college and high school (hence I understand the feeling of fear about math section and arithmetic section on ASVAB test), but throughout my consistent days of tutoring other students, I simply discovered what works and what doesn't.  Instead of keeping this knowledge to myself (something that other typical person would do) instead I decided to share many of the study methods with you.

Often in high school you may get recommended to study from ASVAB book, but are not really encouraged to study smart, and not really encouraged to study from multiple resources to ensure your passing score as much as you are encouraged here.  Sure some students may easily pass exam, but some students may end up struggling. The question is which type of student are you?  How much time do you spend studying on daily basis?

Or perhasp you do not like to study and like to watch Netflix after school.  If that's the case no one blames you that is normal thing to do.  However, remember dedicating a bit of your time to studying at least couple of days per week for couple hours can really move you up the ladder in the long term of your overall academic goals.   Some students also, want to take ASVAB exam to quickly move out of their homes, because of non favorible conditions and therefore try to enlist themselves in military.

Military Career Tip Advice for students

This is a big step in life, I am not here to talk you out of this, but remember just weight all of your options before you make up your mind.  Sure I knew some people who enrolled in national guard and made part time income and only once in a while were called to serve, while still making some money.

Some students wanted that extra income in life and went for it.  Note the good part about Rome Wells, is that he is not your Military Recruit official.... and instead provides independent career advice.

Typically when you go to any of the military offices and ask for career advice, of course they will tell you join the army, national guard, Air Force etc... don't just blindly do so

Do your research first, this is important decision of your life.   Most sites who sell ASVAB materials don't really tell you that (and instead tell you that you simply need to buy ASVAB materials and join miiltary), but perhaps you may not even need to take this test in a first place. Maybe I just talked you out of joining military!

My goal here is to help students and make sure students chose their proper path in their career journey.  However if you did decide that you definitely going to enlist into military, then simply see what study materials Rome Wells shows on this site, see if they work for you.

Good part about Rome Wells is that he truly cares for you, and wants you to do well, and another good thing, even if let's say you realize Military is not for you and suppose you changed your mind, you can always come back to this site and see what other options are out there for you, and even ask Rome Wells for advice.

So now that you know more about Rome Wells, continue reading about ASVAB and see how you can prepare for your exam effectively.  Note not every study resource you see on this site may be as effective as you would want it to be, some maybe more effective then others depending on the quality of the study guide, and overall  your educational background.   Also one more thing, don't just think that you buy a single study guide and end up passing exam!  If you expect to have many pieces of information and content all included in one study guide year entire life on schooling and your entire educational background in one study guide, then your expectations are incorrect!  Study guides are designed to full fill your missing knowledge. Think of your brain as swiss cheese, that has many holes in it.

Some of these holes are filled up with knowledge during your academic school years, and some during tutoring, from watching tv, from doing absolutely everything that you do.  Every single class you took in your academic career counts towards filling up that entire swiss cheese with knowledge.  Study Guides, practice study packs or any other materials listed can only fill up small chunks of your brain, under no circumstances are they designed to make that swiss chesse filled up fully, unless of course you study from multiple resources and rapidly learn like a machine, only in that case and that case only you can get close to fullfiling your knowledge gaps.  The point i am trying to make here is... .do  not put all your hopes into single study guide!  Leverage multiple resources when preparing for your exam.

Some students for example maybe better in math then others and hence may end up doing better on math section of the exam, especially since there is technically Arithmetic and more math advanced section.  Other students for example took GED did poorly and wondering how much study do they need to do for ASVAB.

ASVAB has many sections and many different outcomes can come out from studying materials listed on this site.  Therefore if you have an easy question and you are confused about something don't hesitate to respond back to Rome Wells (especially if he contacted you with suggestion advice) and let him know what your question is, perhaps he can help with career advice or with the study guide resource selection.

Note you must realize that there are many sections on exam, and although Rome Wells is well rounded person across different fields, in reality Rome Wells expertise is specifically math, and also education as well as Information Technology.  Therefore, questions that you can ask him can be something related to study resource you are thinking of getting and not sure which one is best or if for example you are not sure if your career is on the right footsteps.

Often many students ask me questions, should I join miiltary?  What should I do?  Am i on the right track?  Rome can you help me somehow, and typically after knowing a bit of background about the person, i can direct them in the right path.  Some may argue and say, how can you direct someone in the right path if you are not in military your self?

This is a valid point, however, you can ask that very same question any other site that you find on the internet and see how many of them are actually in the military.  Rome Wells strength is in education and helping students improve their learning effectiviness.  Therefore using his advice shown on this site, would be beneficial for you.  Note even when you do join military,  have you thought about what exactly will be your specialization?

Who knows maybe it will be... computer SDN networking or coding... or for example some intelligence support or project management... There are many skills out there that military official leverage, created by professionals from other fields.

Many of these skills are not just recommended by some one who is in military, but by the well advanced educational community, who helps students in military field learn more, improve their effectiviness by creating useful learning resources and helping you improve your ASVAB score.

Think of Rome Wells founder of Tutoring Services, LLC (where learning never ends ) being as that educational community, an educational advocate who simply helps people do better in life academically and helping you crack your ASVAB exam and get that passing score by pointing you in the righ educational test preparatio resource direction.

Note however my advice should not be taken as final, you should always do your research about your career and where you want to be it's all about goals.  In fact for any profession it's all about goals not just military.  But anyway enough with my advice, I am just helping you out here let's now talk more about ASVAB.
